YEW DELL GARDEN WEDDING | BAILEY AND JACKSON

It was the end of July, yet somehow the coolest day of the summer. As thankful as we are that the weather went easy on us (the impending rainclouds held off until everyone was safely under the pavilion settled in for dinner- insane!), I also keep thinking about how easy Bailey & Jackson made their day feel⁠. These two were genuinely, wonderfully unbothered about the pesky little details, and they did the most beautiful job keeping “the main thing the main thing” … getting married, being with their people, being with each other, and not letting the little things become bigger than what the day was actually about⁠.

There was so much beauty in the gardens, and so many beautiful & thoughtful details, but somehow the day never felt like it was about any of that – it was about *them*, their nearest & dearest, and all the steps that brought them to this day⁠. Every choice they made for their wedding day was so intentional, and honed in on exactly that: from getting ready in their parents’ homes, to including their sweet doggy Fletcher in the ceremony, to passing around their wedding bands so every guest had a chance to hold them while setting a positive intention… As we delivered their gallery, I kept thinking about how much I hope these images can always take them right back to these memories, these people, and these in-between moments that came together to make this day so special⁠. Most importantly, I hope they look through these photos and remember that they were truly fully present for it all🫶⁠
