I started doing photography when I was still in high school, and TBH I cringe a little at so much of my early work 😆 … but hey, gotta start somewhere! Even still, it blows my mind when my old classmates reach out all these years later because they remembered me taking their prom photos or senior photos way back then. So when Caroline reached out to us at the end of last year and said “I’m getting married and of course thought of you first when it came to photography!”, I don’t think she realized just how much that meant to me 🥲 We grew up going to school together (literally her family lives one block over from mine) and it is such a mind-blowing/full-circle-moment for me that Portugal and I will be documenting her wedding later this year!

Their NuLu engagement session (our last session of 2024) was mine & Caroline’s first time seeing each other since high school graduation, but lemme tell ya we didn’t miss a beat! And Portugal & Danny immediately hit it off because they are wine nerds. 😜 What followed was 2 hours of romping around NuLu (& hitting up Nouvelle Wine Bar, of course), and even visiting the exact location outside of Garage Bar where these two met for the first time (although there was some minor disagreement on the *exact* location) 😆🥹

Caroline and Danny, we cannot waittttt to document your wedding in BG later this year! Thanks for such a fun session (and for showing us Hammerheads for the first time 🤤)
