At first glance, you may be wondering how a pair of punky kids found themselves photographing weddings all over the country. We always joke that we feel like the black sheep of the wedding industry, and that isn't a bad thing at all. We are passionate about what we do because we have an inescapable, innate desire to capture images that really mean something.
We live in-between Nashville and Louisville, and happily seize any opportunity to travel. When we're not photographing weddings, you'll find Portugal on a skateboard and Shelley curating a playlist to fit the vibe of whatever book she's currently reading.

The caterers are clearing out the empty plates and the wedding coordinator is packing up the centerpieces, but the dance floor is still raging. The couple in the center of it all is surrounded by their family and friends (just as they have been all day), with unrestrained joy on their faces as they scream along to "Mr. Brightside".
It’s a celebration worthy of dirtying a white dress and dancing barefoot until your feet hurt. It’s happy tears, long hugs, and a sacred reverence for the joining of two lives. Maybe it's the only day in history when people from every corner of your lives are gathered together under one roof for such a happy reason.
