Maddie & Grayson’s New Year’s Eve wedding was a perfectly balanced blend of honoring tradition/faith/family with a modern spin. The ceremony was held at Wightman Chapel at the Scarritt Bennett Center, which they chose as their venue due to it being designed by the same architect as Rhodes College in Memphis, where the couple met and fell in love. Their morning ceremony was followed by an afternoon intermission so that the party could resume later that evening and everyone could party until the clock struck midnight, ringing in 2023! After dinner, the ~dance party of the century~ commenced, complete with karaoke leading up to the midnight countdown (my personal favorite was when the bride was serenaded with “Read U Wrote U” – shoutout to all the Drag Race fans).

On top of lucking out with truly incredible weather the day of the wedding, we were also beyond excited that Maddie & Grayson enlisted us to shoot a mixture of digital & film photos throughout the day.
