We had a whole extra year to get to know Amanda & Michael due to COVID postponing their winter wedding. These two made a huge sacrifice in pushing back their wedding date almost an entire year in order to keep everyone that they love safe. These guys rolled with the punches effortlessly, taking every opportunity to celebrate along the way (we even did a second engagement session with them this past summer just because!)
Their November wedding ended up being perfect- the weather was immaculate, and the fall leaves made St. James Court feel like Louisville’s own Central Park. The Pointe at Butchertown made for the coolest venue for their beautiful warehouse ceremony and reception, Courtney Samuels made the day run effortlessly without a hitch, Kudmani killed it with the entertainment (as always), and Rose & Honey florals knocked it out of the park with the florals.
I remember Amanda telling me that being able to have ALL their friends and family present and being able to hug everyone’s necks without worrying was a top priority for her. Well, we’d say it was well worth the wait to be able to have a party with all of their people (and party they did!) We just love these two so much- they have been so good to us, and we feel bonded for life after jumping through so many hoops together (COVID couples are truly some of the most resilient people.)
Enjoy some of our favorite images from their day!
