WKU Engagement session photography in Bowling Green KY
While brainstorming locations for their springtime engagement in Bowling Green, I suggested a few spots to AmyLynne. When she heard my idea for the cherry blossoms on WKU’s campus, she said, “THAT’S IT!”
If you know anything about these cherry blossoms, you know they don’t stick around for long. Some years, depending on the weather, they never even reach their peak bloom. But when you catch them at the right time, they are breathtaking. 🌸
We tentatively scheduled the session based on past peak bloom dates— which just happened to fall the day before AmyLynne & Addison were set to leave for their bachelor and bachelorette parties! We kept an eye on the weather and crossed our fingers, even though rain was forecasted all week.
Miraculously, as we grabbed drinks with AmyLynne & Addison an hour before our session, the skies cleared and the sun came out. The cherry blossoms were the fluffiest and fullest I had seen in years! Everyone was on cloud nine— the magic of these tiny blooms is REAL. 🌸✨
We had an amazing time with these two. They came ready to have fun and embrace whatever the day brought — and yes, that pink suit was EVERYTHING! Even if the rain had forced us to pivot, their energy and attitude would have made it an unforgettable session.
We can’t wait to carry these good vibes into their wedding celebration in May!
