Sometimes a wedding day just radiates joy, and Eileen & Trey’s celebration was exactly that. The energy was grounded, warm, and palpable in every room.
Eileen told us she wanted the day to feel like a Christmas party with all your friends — cozy, full of laughter, great food, and unforgettable memories. Along with their amazing planner, Grace) fully captured that “Christmas party” energy at their August wedding at Whitehall.
The last days of summer brought perfect weather and soft golden light all weekend. Their welcome party at Hotel Genevieve set the tone, as friends and family shared tender, hilarious, and heartfelt stories. “Laughing through tears” was a theme that ran throughout the weekend.
The next morning, Eileen & Trey began their day with an intimate Chinese tea ceremony with their parents and grandparents. Witnessing the love, reverence, and honor for Eileen’s family and heritage was incredibly moving — there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
From the western ceremony to cocktail hour and through the final song of the night, the energy never dipped. Even as the DJ packed up, no one was ready to leave the dance floor!
