These beautiful people! This beautiful day!!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly cannot believe that we are lucky enough to live 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful places in Kentucky. Michelle & Nathan’s Lost River Cave wedding was the perfect balance of dark & moody (as it should be for a cave wedding, quite frankly) as well as heartfelt, fun, & tender. Their ceremony under the trees included vows that had just about everyone in tears, followed by a rager in the historic cave ballroom (where they used to hold parties during the prohibition era – I meannnn it doesn’t get any cooler than that). Jules With the Flowers of course came through with the most beautiful flowers imaginable, and Rays Aura Portraits provided THE coolest wedding favors we’ve ever seen in the form of personal aura photobooth portraits.

We LOVED being part of this moody, magical day and we are so thankful that Michelle & Nathan trusted us to document it all! (Michelle is quite the visionary… you might recall their engagement photos at the Kentucky State Fair last summer – that was all her idea as well!)
